Breakthrough Sales Strategies, Tools & Tactics

Our Business Development Consulting focuses on strategies and tactics designed to assist clients in building a strong foundation for their business. This involves face-to-face sessions devoted to gathering information, educating business owners, developing a business plan, establishing action steps and producing timelines for success.

Our Business Development Services are comprised of three Key Components:

  • Assessment/Feasibility Study
  • Business Plan
  • Ongoing Consulting

Assessment/Feasibility Study
A Feasibility Study focuses on answering the essential question: “Should we proceed with the proposed project idea?”

A feasible business venture generates adequate cash-flow and profits, withstands the risks it encounters, remains viable in the long-term, and meets the goals of its founders. A venture can be a start-up business, an existing business, an expansion of business operations, or a new enterprise for an existing business.

The feasibility study is a critical step in the business assessment process. If properly developed and conducted, it may be the best investment you ever make. Using information from the feasibility study and input from consultants, you'll know whether or not to proceed with a business idea.

Business Plan
A Business Plan is critical for the creation or expansion of a business. It explains how the business will be created or expanded and why it will be successful. The Business Plan describes the nature of the business, the sales and marketing strategy, and the financial structure and projections. It outlines the actions needed to take the proposal from “idea” to “reality.”

Essentially, the Business Plan provides the “blueprint” for project implementation. Time spent making your business plan thorough and accurate is an investment that pays big dividends in the long-term.
Involvement in creating the Business Plan is critical. Although the Consultant asks the questions, compiles the information and formulates the plan, the client is ultimately responsible for the ideas and content of the Business Plan. Stated simply, if the client is not intimately involved in writing the Business Plan, the client may not know how to implement the plan and thereby create a successful business.

Ongoing Consulting
Avaunt Advantage continuously monitors and supports its clients throughout the implementation of their Business Plan.

Potential investors or lenders may want to see a Business Plan before they consider funding a business. Owners may be tempted to use their Business Plans solely for this purpose, but a good plan will set a steady course for the business over its lifespan.

Ongoing business planning helps assess whether or not you're achieving your business objectives. The Business Plan can be used as a tool to identify where you are and where you wish your business to go. A Business Plan identifies certain key targets and the Consultant encourages and assists you in managing those business priorities.

Maximize your chance of success by adopting a continuous business planning cycle. Your Consultant will assist by keeping the plan up-to-date, meeting with you regularly and sharing the latest business and marketing information and strategies.
